The Bohem Dreme Manifesto

Most people spend their lives “existing” by accident. We get caught in a cycle of work-heavy obligations, digital noise, and the weight of unnecessary worries. We treat life like a series of tasks to manage rather than an experience to inhabit.

“The Default Life is a misdiagnosis of what it means to be alive.”

To live the Bohem Dreme is to refuse the default. It is the deliberate choice to reclaim your time, your focus, and your humanity. It is rooted in the understanding that being human is a “super” experience, provided you actually show up for it.

· Why we spell it differently

We don't spell “bohemian” or “dream” the way the dictionary does, because our interpretation is different. Bohem Dreme isn't a definition you find in a book. It is one you create for yourself.

The first wordBohem

Rooted in the nomadic, the seeker, and the artist who values experience over accumulation.

The second wordDreme

A deliberate spelling departure from the standard. A visual signal that your dream doesn't have to follow a template. You are the architect, the author, and the one who defines what “living fully” looks like for you.

· The woman behind it

Hi, I'm Steph

Since 2013 I've been behind the chair, specializing in precision cuts, complex colour, and transformations that help your outside match who you are on the inside. Along the way the work deepened: the chair taught me that what people often need most is quiet, and the bowls gave that quiet a sound.

Bohem Dreme is my name for all of it. One philosophy, practised two ways, in one small, intentional corner of Toronto.
